Golfers raise $14,775 for scholarship fund
The TLMI Scholarship Golf Challenge, held at Lake Barrington Shores Golf Club in Illinois, USA, raised $14,775 this year. The event, sponsored by Labelexpo, has raised $71,385 in the past six years.
A total of 88 label converters and suppliers participated this year. The winning team was composed of Ted Alden and Angelo Cappozio, Alden & Ott Printing Inks; Rob Kazmarski, Woodview Label and Packaging; and Brad Shuff, Ward Craft.
Funds raised at the golf event support the Tag & Label Manufacturers Institute’s scholarship fund, which assists young people pursuing careers in the tag and label industry.
